This site aims to achieve one of the following purposes:
- Introduce you to new artists/groups of whom you should be made aware
- Reaffirm your connection to an artist or group with whom you have already been aquainted
- Lead you in the right direction to explore an artist/group you enjoy hearing
Based out of the southwestern United States, indieface.blogspot.com will allow visitors to discover, explore, and comment on indie and emergent music the blogger deems important, newsworthy, buzzworthy, and/or downright enjoyable. I want to give a face to indie music. I welcome suggestions, notifications, corrections, and criticism all in the name of promoting the indie and emergent music we should be hearing. Many artists and groups promoted here during the first few postings will be acts who have already established themselves. More emergent artists will appear as the postings continue.
The ultimate goal of this site will be to expose visitors to music they may have not heard and to get them to explore these acts further.
